Our October workshop was led by Maude Freymond Wanner, and it promised a lot of fun.
Maude as an artist of her own rights, always want to push boundaries and this workshop she asked us to gather a mix of inedible kitchenware like strainers, pots, pans, kitchen utensils, crockeries, as well as edible items such as fruit and vegetables, and or whatever we could find.
With such a theme, Maude found her inspiration for some of her arrangements from reconnecting with childhood playing and getting creative but always adhering to the principles of Ikebana which are creating line, space, asymmetrical shape, using odd numbers and expressing movement. And members enjoyed twisting their brains in creating playful arrangements.
